The histories of Northgate Greenhouses and Cincinnati's iconic Findlay Market are tied together. The Greenhouses company started in 1920 with founder Doc Krismer, who worked alongside his son to grow fruits and veggies year round to sell at the market. The business is still family owned, and offers a fabulous collection of flowering and vegetable plants to make any garden glow. During your visit, make sure to strike up a conversation with the knowledgeable staff — they are all happy to provide personalized plant tips and gardening ideas!

A.J. Rahn Greenhouses has served the Cincinnati area since 1890. That's nearly 130 years of experience growing and nurturing beautiful gardens — so we know where we're going for recommendations! The center is still owned by the same family (now in the fifth generation), and offers a wonderful selection of houseplants, flowers, succulents, vegetable plants, fruit plants and more.
